Other Quarters of the House
TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OTHER QUARTERS OF OUR TRANQUIL HAVEN…

THE LIBRARY

The library is comfortably furnished with a sitting area in front of a big fireplace and old refectory tables propitious for reading or business meetings. It is an ideal room that can also accommodate small groups of 35 people.

THE GREENHOUSE

Adjacent to the reception area, our small Victorian greenhouse or interior garden as we also call it is located in the heart of the house. It is a relaxing area where one can sit and enjoy a cocktail while talking with our parrots.
THE TERRACE

The outside terrace is stone paved and surrounded by high stone walls covered with vines, giving it an exceptionally intimate character. It is also an ideal place for cocktails during beautiful summer evenings.

SALON BEAUPRE

Used also as a small private dining room for 4 to 12 people, our salon Beaupré decorated with French tapestries and small bronze reproductions of the Paris Chevaux de Marly is a charming and warm room, especially in the winter where we can enjoy a fire burning in the chimney.
Design & Architecture

The house reminds us of the difficult times during the establishment of the French Colony and resembles a small fortress with its iron shutters protecting its windows. Its austere Breton facade, impressive stone walls, tall chimneys, pitched roof and French windows are distinctive of this historic period.

From the onset, you will be immediately seized by the magic and mystery radiating from the stone walls, heavy wood beams and woodworks of the interior decoration. The reception counter is Victorian Baroque style with inlay work and is surrounded by spectacular Louis XV consoles decorated with fantastic sculpted griffins.
